Leadership

The Chalet Muri Talks

Dialogue and collaboration: For around 40 years, Chalet Muri Talks has been Switzerland's most exclusive leadership network and a transnational commitment to cultural dialogue.

At the invitation of Claudio Righetti, initiator and host of the Chalet Muri Talks, leading personalities from various fields of knowledge meet regularly at these exclusive meetings in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere for conversation and exchange.

The events are held alternately* at Chalet Muri-Bern, Villa zum Mythenstein in Zurich and the H. Geiger Cultural Foundation in Basel.

Dialogues & Impulses

Interdisciplinary collaboration

The Chalet Muri Talks are committed to fostering close and trust-based exchange between politics, business, science, and culture. This exchange should gain impact and influence both within Switzerland and in international relations.

The talks offer a dynamic space for ideas and collaboration, where shared values and interests are explored through dialogue on equal terms.

The Chalet Muri Talks are a cosmopolitan and influential forum with a global network that is strengthened and continuously expanded through friendly relationships.

In line with liberal principles, the Chalet Muri Talks are committed to cultural, economic, and political development and freedom. They thus send a strong signal for an optimistic and responsible future.

International relevance

Gala de Berne

The format of the “Chalet Muri Talks” has developed organically over the years, parallel to the activities of creative entrepreneur Claudio Righetti in the cultural sector. For example, the “Gala de Berne”, which he organized in 2012 and 2013, brought cultural prestige and international attention to the city of Bern.

The first “Gala de Berne” at the Zentrum Paul Klee honored the Swiss actress Ursula Andress on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of “Dr. No”, the first James Bond film.

At the second event in the Kursaal Bern, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II was honored for his commitment to environmental protection and the cooperation of his foundation with the University of Bern.

Each “Gala de Berne” achieved a worldwide presence with a reach of over 100 million people due to the numerous international media outlets.
